I am so damn bad at bloggy stuff. I do OK for a couple of days and then disappear. I tried to carve a rock I found in a field once, using a hammer and a railroad spike. It actually looked pretty good for my first attempt. It was a skull and I ended up using it as a base for a feejee mermaid carving. Here is a guy who really knows his way around a rock. Very inspiring.

Here is the roughed out letter M relief.
It's hard to see without it's paint.
It will have a melting M, masked mermaid with a Mohawk and machete with some meat. She is wearing a mitt holding a meditating martian with a monocle and a mustache.
There is a martini, a molar, a match, money and a moon in the background.
